I only wish retromode would let me play in 16:9 but you can crank the fov real high to make up for that.ĭaggerfall unity has a click to attack so you don't have to hold your mouse to swing but it lacks the ability to control your swing (like wtf just lift the system from morrowind) it just kinda chooses randomly and thats not great for.any situation other than killing a rat. Without retromode everything is crisp and clear but it reminds me of, well. Its so silly playing a game like this in 640x480 with ambient occlusion dynamic lighting and shadows. I think its hilarious I have all these HD mods for DF unity but I turned retromode on so it feels sort of like vanilla as far as resolution and color depth but I have little hidden lighting details in the normal mapping and such. First off you wont crash exiting a dungeon 50% of the time and second its got mods. I wanted to go with classic feel to play daggerfall and played vanilla for a while but for the love of god just install daggerfall unity. overhead is opposite and the side swing is average. thrusting with your weapon is more accurate (yet lower damage) and saves your life when you are low level weapon skill.
